Winter Vinecky

Winter Lee Vinecki is an American aerial freestyle skier from Grand Rapids, Michigan. She grew up in Gaylord, Michigan, and was a strong endurance athlete (running, triathlon, marathons) before focusing on aerial skiing. 
NBC After the death of her father from prostate cancer when she was nine, she founded Team Winter, a non-profit raising awareness and funds for prostate cancer research. 
Vinecki moved to Park City, Utah as a teenager to train in aerials. She made the U.S. national ski team in 2016 and competed for the first time in the Olympics in 2022.
